added ocean free bacteria during lunch time around 12 pm. pour the whole bottle 250 ml in the sump tank

Juz finish doing the test it looks good 5 mg for ammonia..putting some salt for the cloudy eyes to cure

should i wc 30 percent of the water or should i let the bacteria colonize more

will be monitoring the parameter this few days

Probably, wc at 20% & keep monitoring.

Should not affect the current BB in the tank.

thanks bro i was wondering should i add more bb solution to my tank?

aside from that went i reached home 2 days ago my sump smell bad
maybe bb died and lot of bubble on the surface of the tank
and now my k1 look so new , used to look brownish

praying bb will cultivate fast as my aro is very2 hungry now started to jump
whenever i put my hand on top of the tank

will update tonight and post a pic

suggest to change k1 into CR for long term usage .

my tank have been back to normal....been doin wc daily of 10% everyday
cloudy eyes slowly curing..

i got 1 question y k1 media is not recommended

K1 media has smaller surface area for BB than the latest ceramic media. I still like it though. Being fully plastic it lasts forever in a moving bed application.
