Default Need Advice

Hi bros, I need advice on how to take a nice picture of my aro..the pic below circle in red alway over expose..what went wrong? I am using Canon S40

identify the light source coming from the bottom and remove it lor

Only the back is stick with black oyama the bottom is clear..is it the reflection of the light that causes this?
