Just ensure you have stable pH and on the high side. Cool water is preferred.
I have lots of coral chips in the filter and I add Seachem lake salt during water change. Those sand I used is neutral. Deco depend on the type of fishes you keep. |

Now my tank gravel also neutral slighty coarse.
I using mr Aqua ohf...have 9 trays. What filter you use? |

Overhead filter for this tank.
Since your gravel is coarse, then you need to avoid sand shifter. |
