basic preparation :clean the tank glass (may get better result if WC few hours earlier), turn off the air pump, filter & room light during shooting & have bright tank light.

flash is a must for fast swiming fish.

if wanna use flash, shoot at an angle to avoid reflection from the glass...

i dont like to use flash cos it will wash out the colours of my fishes

if there is sufficient lighting and e shutter speed is fast enuf. there shldn't be a prob with day or nite.

but if it's too dark at night. then seek e light in e morning.

Guys you can check out my gallery my extif files are hightlighted there.. You can probly pick up a few pointers. However for all the images I am using both Fuji S2 and S3 Pro.. DSLR.. But if you don't have any DSLR, don't worry reduce the size of your images and resolution as well then add a little sharpening and you will see that it makes a whole world of difference..

So do remember that the next time you have any slightly out of focus photos, it probable could be save.. Don't press the delete button on your camera
