Is without injured mouth and cloudy eyes so important when u guys choose a fish?
Frankly speaking, I'm never bothered about injuries and minor diseases that can be cured easily when I choose my fish. The congi I chose is for its markings. The tail was torn and crooked, mouth injured. But those didn't bother me at all. I tried to look for another pc with a nicer tail but I still prefer the one I chose which I bagged it eventually. |

Mouth injury still ok. Cloudy eyes abit more risky.... cannot see properly at night dunno if the eyes are injuried/blind. Slightly torn finnage and tail rays still ok la... can heal back under good conditions... more concern about eyes.
The congis (at least I notice) do not have cloudy eyes... but some has injuried lips and torn tail finnage. |

Not that I care that much about how the fish look , but I would prefer those that don't have injuries as to minimise risk of infection etc.

Made a very tough decision and sold my moke this morning to a nice bro.. it's slower compared to the rest of my bichirs and the rest of the comm is not helping it get enough food. I guess it's better for someone to keep it to it's full potential then for me keep something i am not able to keep to my 100% best.
anyway, shifted my woodworks and finally able to take a picture of my WC Polypterus bichir lapradei "Nigeria" And the dashing caused by me putting in wood caused it to hit the wood, now having a cloudy left eye a bit on the skinny side, hand feeding sutchi fillet and MP Last edited by WiNd.feNg; 17-04-2011 at 01:57 AM. |
