A little over a year, the growth rate was incredible, he has slowed a little lately though.

now thats a cool monster u have there bro, fantastic shots u've taken too !! was wondering wat u feed them, the growth rate seems incrediby fast, ave 1-2" every month...

Sorry, I didn't see your question. I feed them fish peices, pellets, market shrimp and river shrimp. I have another that I bought at the same time at the same size and he is still only about 19".
