Default I finally bought my D300

Damn cool, except abit tiring after a few shots. Abit heavy for me.
Any tripod to recomemd?
SLIK Deluxe Camera Tripod Stand ?
Sigma tripod?
Do I have to purchase those very expensive trippod?
What's the difference between chap and expensive besides those added functions of tripod and weight.

Gong xi gong xi! Waiting to see some nice pics

IMO, any normal tripod is good enough if your DC is not too big and heavy. Slik is good in the sense that they r very light. I currently using a normal type but thinking of changing to a higher end one.
