China will construct the East Coast Rail, linking it to Melaka. Why would they even worry about SG? They will stranglehold SG. Since Thai won't be digging the Kra canal, and ships needs to past thru SG, the way around is, cut SG by land for shipments due for M'sia or exports from M'sia.
