Default Weak wifi signal in room

Presume all know or encounter such issue. What is the best solution, using extender or those powerline adaptor. No matter where I place the AC router in the hall, room signal doesnt improve.

Anyone can give feedback what you all use.

Why not get a contractor to run a line into the room that has the problem and then plug this new lone into a router placed in the same room. Think the cost of running the line is btwn 200 to 300.

This will be more reliable then getting a repeater or adaptor esp the latter which is also dependent on how old is yr unit's electrical circuit. Age too old definitely no good.

Router can get now since GSS is still on.

Meaning the ONT remain in the hall and run the RJ45 cable into the room to connect to the router.

Was quoted by different vendors from few hundred to 4k to solve my wifi second and third floor no reception from hall.

In end just went to Challenger and bought TP link power socket wifi extender for every floor.

The vendors laughed and all tell me to call them when I surrender.

Challenger set up was plug n play : total about $200, son did the passwords and good to go.

Dun bother with the subcontractors, all BS.

Lorkun, your unit is a private unit so that was why so exp.
In the early days when Starhub laid their cables, for landed property thinks it costs about 11K or 15K.

Yes, powerline extender is another solution, better than a extender. I was recommended by Challenger staff to buy the TP link powerline extender when i was looking how to resolve my problem then. It is quite gpod but it also depends on the age of the electrical circuit too. Was told too old no guarantee can work if it was installed long ago.
And also the circuit must be installed in parallel if I am not wrong. If i am wrong then must run in series liao
Paiseh also not familar on the electrical wirings.
