Default New Generation Speed Camera

After previously mentioning about this, TP has finally implemented it - Average Speed Camera System.
------------------

Last December, it launched the new*Average Speed Camera system*along a 4km stretch of Tanah Merah Coast Road, which*tracks*the average speed of the vehicle over that stretch of road rather than at a single spot.*

The Traffic Police will consider deploying this system at other locations in future, it said.

tagging was actually thought of in US or somewhere but cant me implemented for human rights reason etc.

But using technology like face recognition to fight petty offense like littering, is now a reality in some parts of China.

TP is actually short handed, else I wish they can give road hogging $£#,×€%× a good kick, as well as PMD users who uses e road (including 1 old fella on electric wheelchair riding it on the road as if every drivers must and will see this dumb oldie).

Not forgetting, some monkey on 2 wheels cyclist who are a royal pain in e rear.

I just joking about tagging lah. That is for criminals. LTA is a joke la, go approve bike sharing without common sense, now still dun admit mistake and act like not their fault. The escooter also big problem, didnt the gov want citizens to exercise more to reduce health cost? Another no brain. Banned smoking in park without any enforcing. Did they realise things dun auto pilot, a proper plan also need to be enforced.

But seriously, the US did explore the idea of human tagging.

And also, given technology, they can soon implement facial recognition.

It's not easy to enforce as they are short handed. Not that I would like so much rules, which ends up controlling exactly how we should live. I'm more for self discipline and civic mindedness.

On that PMD, it's for convenience, yes, and it's a personal choice. I read somewhere (will find e article) about how ppl are living unhealthily, which also mentioned about lazy to take the stairs. How often do we not see ppl taking lift, even gg to 2md or 3rd floor? Oh well...

Should bring in those treadmill-like except that it with 2 wheels and will move forward as the rider starts doing the walking....really a gd idea.
I am sure it is workable with some twitching....example it will store energy and still move forward even when the rider is tiring or slowing down
