Bleach? Wouldn't the wood absorb it and wouldn't that be bad for the water? What kind of bleach are you recommending?

I use this to clean and disinfect... Effective or not... Still not v sure.

I've used regular household bleach. The ones without any "extras" in them. The wood will absorb it hence the hot water + drying phase

pp will harm silicone, stain your clothes and etc. You can just use some anti-chlorine to deactivate it(will turn it brown).

soak in boiling water for 2-3 times. will still grow abit but much lesser and goes away after some time.

No need pp or bleach bro. Just boil it. If too big to boil then like what bro octane said, soak in boiling water a few rounds

I face the same problem also. But in tank got shrimp hard to remove to clean up Don't see my shrimp 'eating' the fungus also. Also don't seem improving
