Today chew and chew but pui out again.Does it mean that this ray actually is mp train but still not settle down yet for food like mp?

bro did u cut up the mp small enough for the ray to swallow?? anyway it show interest in the mp, just not eating well yet. in time to come it will swallow .... be patient.

I cut the mp smaller than half inch by inch.

Btw, I add in fozen bloodworm for it tank mate discus to eat. The ray show interest but very hard to see ray got eat cause too many on the base.

bro best to cut half that size for initial stage, throw 1 piece at a time, let it swallow, otherwise dun put in anymore. wait until it start to eat properly 1-2 pieces bufore pumping the fella up. be patient, it will eat when it is hungary enough. btw, what is the disc diameter??

Pls note that adult rays stores fats at its tail. The fatter the tail the more storage it has....it can go without food for days even weeks during hard times in the wild.Was told they can eat like theres no tomorrow...lol
Its very important to feed alot if you want to breed em.

Mine eats only ghost shrimps,baby catfish and heheh... worms.
Gave up on MP coz its tankmates are Kois and ST.
They keep stealing the MP ...

have you accimatize it before transfering to your tank ? Maybe its just getting use to his/her new surroundings. Just make sure you have right water parameters.

My ray before eats MP after 2hrs of transfering :-)

try getting freah mp it might helps

Disc size was about 14in. I took 1hour to add in tank water before adding to tank but there was alot of knocking during transportation.

bro today measure the size again it is 12in not 14in so not really consider big size .After 11 day of fasting it eats 1pc of mp for 2 following days...BUT..on the next day it stop eating again...yesterday it eat 1pc of mp...today it eats 2.5pc of mp.

The ray chew the mp for a few min before he swallow it.
