Default Sakura Rays

hey fellas,
been reading this category abt rays, but don't hear much from people with the above rays.

Is sakura ray a very difficult ray to keep, even more difficult than a BD, or is it cos they are difficult to find?
Also don't see much being sold in lfs, even though i saw a pair og tiger rays in C328.

Are they very rare, or are they very "manja" ?
thnks for ur advice.
cheers.

Yes, Sakuras are more difficult than BDs to upkeep. If u are into masochism and like being stressed, this is the ray for you These rays are into SDS (sudden death syndrome) for no good reason or needs very little to push them to SDS.
They r easy to find. Seaview tends to have it frequently.
They are not easy to convert to MP and they grow HUGE and beautiful so if they are on live feeders, it is not easy to keep up, in terms of cost, and water parameters.
Only the Great Bro TOM32 ( Tony) has bred this ray in Singapore and I must say it is a heck of an achievement that no one can beat at the moment!

They are Beautiful rays!

They were available at one time as juvenile pups.

However, i am unsure where to find it now. Unless some fellow hobbyist wants to sell theirs. you can try to post WTB and see got any luck.

Yes, they are beautiful and striking in black tanks

wow,
thnks.
no wonder nobody talks a lot abt them.
certainly not for noobies like me.
Hope those with experience with sakuras can share some tips on how to keep them alive .
But certainly more and more BD experts sprouting out now looking at so many BD threads in the forum.
