If electrical power is max of 120W, then the cooling power is about 60% of 120W, that is 72Wmax.
However, a power supply is rated at 10A max, that does not mean the peltier will draw at 10A, which means the cooling power of peltier may not even has 72W. Does that make sense? |

thanks for sharing.
hope u don't mind when ask some silly questions when abt to start build one. just one thought : assuming room temp 28-29 deg C. If able to drop to 25 deg C, will a cooling fan at either DC or AC do the trick as well. Just looking at the costing side. cheers. |

I may disappoint u...
At the moment i may not DIY any unit yet, if u really interested to DIY a unit for yourself. U can buy all items i listed in this thread, then from there we both can DIY step by step take picture & post it... Of cos u don expect me to dismantle my unit to show step by step rite.. Further more also some part are silicon on the HOF, can not be dismantle liao lo... Quote:

Last time i also use fans to cool my Crs tank, yes it able to cool lowest around 25oC only at some months... But problems is everydays i have to topup water, which is not so good for my precious Crs... As Crs is sensitive to water temp & PH go up go down. Yes DIY M-chiller do cost more $$$, but it also depend yr budget & U use for keeping wat lo... Quote:
