Default Atison's Betta Pro go bye bye?

Was just surfing around when I saw some rumours that Atison's betta pro is being discontinued. Apparently the manufacturer Ocean Nutrition is being bought over by another company, some San Francisco Bay Brand.

Here's the link: http://www.fishlore.com/fishforum/be...eing-made.html

Tried to check out their main website, but they have removed the pink cap bottle from the site, left the blue one only. Understand alotta bros here also use Atison;s Pro. Me currently feeding Atisons and NLS, if Atison Pro no more then gotta look for sub liao... hiaz

Yep, last I saw lfs still got lotsa stock for pink cap, so we are safe for now. Ya that was an old link, but saw some newer links e.g. 2010 ones saying its being discontinued.

Hmm mayb I must email Ocean Nutrition see what they say.

Since we are on this topic, can I ask a question? :]

Is there a difference in size between pro and normal pellets?
Cause I just finished one unlabelled supposed atison betta, and noticed that my new pink cap one has bigger pellets

yes,the pink cap pellets are slightly bigger than the blue ones. sadly,my betta doesn't seem to eat the blue ones. maybe because it's cheap for them.

Hi bros, as promised, here's an update, it is true, Atison Betta Pro really gonna go bye bye. Look below for the email reply from their representative.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you or choosing Ocean Nutrition! Unfortunately, the rumors are true.
We have recently discontinued Atison's Betta Pro due to a production/product
consistency issue at our factory in Thailand. We hope to again be able to
offer this product in the future but are unsure if or when that might occur.
Atison's Betta Food and Betta SPA will continue to be available. The
remaining Betta Pro product in our warehouses can be purchased only through
the International Betta Congress (IBC), who can be contacted at (315)
737-7615. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any additional
questions.

Sincerely,

Cody Chapin, M.Sc.
