Totally agree with you.Buying the aro is not so difficult, the difficult part is bringing up the aro to its full potential.Needs lots of time, money and patience.Just my 2 cents worth..

To all the bros whom replied, thanks for your kind words. I really learnt my lesson liao. Will save up for another aro. I kinda prefer those very small ones, can witness his growing up and all, greater sense of accomplishment if he turns out well I guess.

stating my own experience....

have fed my red since young at 5inches with SWs with no problem........now fish is ard 14inches.........

think the prob lies in overfeeding which most likely lead to indigestion.......

Maybe over maybe not.... try cutting up big SW into 2 to 3 parts.... remove head and tail bit. Trust me ya little ARO will appricate it definately!!! And also you'll have peace in mind.

Don't take it too hard.... Bro VILLAIN.

Today just heard from my GF that my parrots not eating "very strange" as they are greedy pigs... worse they are all housed together with my 2 AROs But lucky AROs eating as per normal. Now me stressed as afraid that water condition went out of hand.... My GF always never scoop up left overs

Gonna rush home to give 1/4 water change then pray.... hard nothing happens to AROs....

Have u thrown away the fish already? If not then u can try prying open its mouth.See whether u can see any part of the worm.If u can see->the fish choked. If not, then perhaps indigestion.
