a little update of the adopted boy. more active n already started to eat.
look more like a boy now? hope that i dont disappoint its previous owner. |

Hehehe Schmike's tank have no driftwood
Mine has. My tank contains a mixture of coral & river sand and driftwood. Driftwood is ok but the PNT can scratch and injure itself on the DW. They do stupid things sometimes really. My Piggy have injured his shell on the DW before but as long as your water quality is good, it will heal nicely and not get infected. |

Does PNT need deep water?
i was thinking of putting into a 1feet height FGT (half filled). Need aerations for the water? |

they prefer deeper water. best will b at least 1.5-2ft height. PNTs r very different with other turtle species. they r the only freshwater turtles with flippers instead of webbed feet.
