ur posts already showed ur decision. go tell ur wife say the mad guy with many fish in his small tank say no need to give up the PNT. can keep all together. just make sure there r caves for the PNT or fishes to hide when they get attacked. but i cant guarantee confirm can work. my technique is just based on my personal experience.

Have you ever encounter synodontis sucks on the back of the PNT before ?
Recently I just discovered my spotted synodontis do that to my PNT and created some bad patches. Found the culprits and finally removed them. |

Spotted synodontis actually cause the shell to peel off then slowly the hole gets bigger. I discovered it by accident also. Removed the synodontis from the tank and PNT's back heal back to normal. Added the synodontis again, same thing happen. So confirm it is. Even suck on the bottom of the shell too. |
