most respected breeder is a big title.. and when the breeder is made known and with such convincing sharing, Q: Are hobbyists able to change their aros with the sellers if the Aros do not turn out to be what they are suppose to be as stated on the certificate? Eg: Red with XB cert, RTG with full pearl and 6th level crossing, XB that look RED etc.... A: I cannot speak for all shops or breeders. However, if you buy from my farm – yes, you can. Q: If you have a batch of arowanas which does not meet your minimum standards, will you still sell them? A: Yes, they will be sold as low grade Aros. It would give hobbyist a boost to grab his fishes.. i am very sure AF is very professional as well as in their approach, so we can definately take your words for it.. Still it is a heart warming interview that there is a huge emphasis on quality... |

for example, there are lots of arguments over WTT on crossing. Unless the name is mentioned, it is like those aunties at the market gossiping. Sorry if this example is offensive.
Anyway, since the speaker requested to remain annoymous. Then no choice. |

Thanks for sharing this interview with us.
On the part where it was mentioned most people focus on selection rather than learning to keep the aro selected, I think he hit the nail on the head. The potential can only be maximised if the aro is well taken care of. AF actually helps in this process, although there are areas where we could improve on. These interviews could help us to gain further insight from a breeder's perspective. |
