Bro perhaps you can do this;
Oh i forget maybe you can add an extra powerhead at the main tank to provide better circulation. Happy Reefing |

So I can position the skimmer at the location you said and add a powerhead to provide circulation in the main tank? |

I suggest you add in more coral chips or just DSB (Deep SandBed)... it will be more effecient in maintaining your water... the coral chip will help to stabilize the PH etc... In marine tank you need to have a good water circulation to provide oxygen... at the same time it will stimulate the water current. so will be good if you have a wavemaker like tunze or seio... or at least a powerhead. |

Hi, anyone knows whether I can get this item (don't know what it's called) from any place? or LFS? It's "corroding"..
It's for holding the pump to the aquarium wall. |

Hi guys! I have set the tank running today.
Gonna add the live rocks in pretty soon. Just have some questions in mind. I have some "live' rocks for a couple of weeks already, but they are not kept in water, so the organisms in the rocks are dead I supposed. Can I still use these rocks to put? And when do I need to do the tests for the tank? Namely NO2, NO3, NH3, PO4, PH. |

try to shut down ur return pump and check for possible flooding.
bcos i notice that ur water outlet is below the water level and when the pump is off, it'll suck the water into the sump until it's out of the water level .. hehe |
