Actually, Committee or no Committee, in the discussion forum here everybody has equal rights to speak. Hope there is no sort of hangover on this. But of course, AFC committee members do put in a lot of effort and time to do things for the club, this we all have to recognise as major contributions as the beneficiaries are the AFC members, and AF as well since all AF members also get to have better insights on the farms and etc just by looking at the pics and write ups. In many ways, some active members have also been major contributors by posting articles, sharing their experience, etc. We are all in a community of arowana lovers and hobbyists, therefore let's all be gracious to one another.

I would think it's neither a hybrid or crossbreed but an anomaly, kind of like how albino fishes come about. But after intentionally breeding the same anomalies together, you get a consistent strain. Kind of like how I used to breed mice for fun to get the colour, etc. |

Regardless of how u term them, whatever genus the experts term them, we all know the jardinis and the leichartis and the silvers are very different and the likely chances are that u cannot crossbreed them with an asian. I am no expert and I dun even believe the experts who term them as such are really experts when the farmers who feel them daily know only so much.
Sadly, this industry is fueled by hearsay.
