Actually quite easy, just buy those nettings, fill them up and slot them in patiently and neatly nia. (I saw the diagram shared on other thread on the water flow, water will find the "easiest way out" .. so have to stack compactly to max the medias)

You mentioned the led light have diff lightings for diff ambience? Care to share more? Im looking for a 5ft led light now.
Bro, I DIY-ed my LEDs, very easy task, LED strip bought via ebay. You can google for keywords: 5050 SMD IP65 Waterproof RGB 5M 300 LED Strip 24 44 KEY IR 12V 5A Power Supply

WIth the 24Key Remote Controller, you can change the colour of the lighting to whichever colour you want.

Usually I prefer the white, blueish tint or the orange tint.

Just concept yourself, not too tough. There are some Led DIY threads.
Just get some aluminium U bar as the led casing and heatsink from Ubi.

Cool....I will give it a shot.

I keep seeing negative reviews on red LED...colour is purplish instead of red.
