Support for OHF (Advice needed)

Can't be help. I prefer sump. But not enough space to setup sump so have to try use ohf as sump.



On related note, since I need to redo everything. Any bros here got lobang or ideas for overhead sump. Normal setup cannot work for me as I have no space below.

Either do a acrylic overhead sump.. resting on tank side.. which is heavy and risk of leaks

Rather than using glass / acrylic overhead sump.
Note: the inner tray need to drill extra holes to prevent excess overflow at the side.

I covered half the holes in my OHF trays.

About half of my media would be submerged while the other half not. The media I have placed at the base tray is also submerged.

In general OHF base tray would be touching the 2 sides of the tank. See if you could move the base support to touch the back edge of tank too. This way you have 3 sides to share the weight, not to mention centre bracing if your tank has it.
