"rashes" on rays
Hi all, saw some patches of "rashes" on my rays this morning, not sure what is the cause of it and is there anything i can do to "cure" it if it is a disease? The rays are still eating and swimming around fine... and not all rays in the tank have these symptoms. Any input and advice greatly appreciated! Thanks much in advance! Here are 2 photos, the rashes are beneath/around the eyes..

Hihi i changed water last Friday, still eating well this evening.. Some rays have more of it while others have less or none.. Really hope it's nothing life threatening..

Hi! I change 40-45% each time, once every 3-4 days. i have been doing it for quite sometime but i dun recall seeing this type of "rashses" i normally observe some white spots tat comes and goes randomly and probably from irritation to the skin i assume.

if thats the case, just continue to monitor. im sure ur rays shld have been accustomed to ur wc regime. backtrack ur wc and see if there was anything different that u did this time, as compared the previously.

Hi! the "rashes" are still there currently, but the rays are still eating well with no complications. One observation is that the bigger ray's rashes seem to have diminished some, but the smaller ray's rashes remain the same. Removed some of the tankmates to reduce bioload while maintaining same WC regime. Hopefully it will go away eventually.

Do you put anti-chlorine when doing WC?
