actually theres no true black diamond or what la just that those leos with more spots,nice skirting,underbelly spotting they classified them as black diamonds and command a much much higher price than normal leos.

and for more astonishing facts,our local ray fans might want to know that mm rays was sold at 6k during that 'good time' |

yes, prices during the "good times" were insane.. Truly insane
Previously, when we buy a certain type, we know what species they are, be it PDR, pearl or henlei... with the lines all "mixed up", all these pure/ not pure are no longer important.. Ask me to spend a few grand to buy sometime I'm not sure of now, I'll probably think twice.. I'm still old sch.. |

really nice pair of rays you have there..the way they swim is almost like slo mo ballet. too bad i am keeping plecos now...if not, will probably be getting some rays! |

With the lift on the bans from Brazil the prices of these rays has drop below the half way mark of what it used to be so with the never ending supply from Brazil and those many on going BDs breeding project all over the world i'm sure the prices will go down even further in a few years time and become more affordable to most hobbist
