so i can actually paste black oyama but during development stage of the ray, i place a white arcylic board in the tank as the base?

arcylic safe to be submerged in water for long duration without and chemical corrosion or anything?
Yes bro...can put white acrylic in the tank as base. Try use plexiglass as i find it better then those cheaper acrylic we find from photo frame shops.

As for leaking chemicals should be ok...but i cant guarantee...but i was using white acrylic as base for my previous tank for around a year without any issue.

The down side would be u need to measure properly the base size and the size of your tank top to prevent acrylic being too big and not being able to enter the tank at all...and also it would be hard to add or remove if livestock already exist in the tank.

Hope it helps.

Cheers
