Default water fishy smell

Bros,

How to remove the fishy smell from the tank water?

I have added charcoal to my sump. But the fishy smell still very strong.

I have washed my hand with detergent and the smell there.

Please advise.

Look around your tank, is there a dead fish stuck somewhere?

I've done wc most of the time. You also need to wipe the fish tank inside out. Change the cotton wool if dirty.

So many fish. No wonder . Ur filtration must be good else cannot handle . Wc must be a lot. Try 2 packs of active carbon. Will help reduce smell. Not just charcoal. Buy those any packs in a bag. Throw 2-3 packs at a go

hi TS.. what is your tank size and what filter system you are using? maybe by sharing this info the bro here can help better.

I also dont like water fishy smell.. so for my tank of 522, I only keep 7 fishes..biggest is 14" aro, the rest all smaller.. and I always remove all uneaten food 5-10min after feeding
