ntts when juvenile or highly stress can look like they loose their stripes.. when they are small they tend to be easily stressed... give more information about your tank setup so that we can have a better idea of what the cause may be..
Water parameters may be one of them too... I have 3 NTTs.. and one of them the smaller one, is always like that when it was small... its been 3 months now.. its getting alot better... I am doubtful that this same syptom is affect STs.. STs ( in my honest opinion) is the most stable of the lot.. with IT being the worse in terms of becoming dark or black.. Hope this helps. |

7 pcs size 5-6 ins kept in a 522 tank with 3 pcs of rays. bare tank with proper filter system and well air. 4 pcs shifted to a smaller tank added yellow powder. it dont look stress to me is more like a infection as the skin is peel off or like bitten off. thanks |
