underflow for planted tank
is there a need for underflow in a planted tank? or just a overflow to the sump will do?

Overflow should do. It can get rid of the layer of protein on the surface as well.
Underflow will be a problem especially when you have substrate. |

thanks bro for the info. was quite puzzzled with whats the use of underflow, cos IMO the sucking power for underflow not really good also
