Default TCTO: TS Crenicichla "SG Red" (Short Body)

Hi all,

As part of our breeding expansion initiative, apart from Arowana, we have been successful at a number of different types of cichlid including pikes (crenicichla).

I wanted to showcase and share one of our more unique and very-own Singapore breed Crenicichla "SG Red". It is a rare short body cutie pike.

Enjoy the pictures below.

cheers,
Terry

Hello AF "Cichlid-philes / lovers ",

Approximately six (6) months on and I am very happy to share the progress of my two short body, Singapore bred (TS Crenicichla "SG Red"). These two were from one of earlier breed batches.

I recall one of my friends asking me "Are you sure they are Red ? " ... " Absolutely! Just wait and see" was my response... and they are turning out even better than i expected

Not only do i adore their unique colouration - Red on the finnages and the deep redness on their head contrasted by the lighter body color ; I love their body shape (cute shortness), but best of all their fair temperament (not a single squabble)...

See the updated Video and Pictures - sorry for the dirty glass and my torchlight chasing them around.

Do enjoy !

cheers,
Terry

Loving their Red "facial makeup" and body contrasts

Look at that perfect short body
