Coolworks Ice probe

been searching around the forum but doesnt seems to have much feedback.

any bro here using this kind of "chiller" for a small tank like 1.5ft?

how much and where can we get this?

For a small tank like 1.5ft, the probe can drop temp down to 25C. Also it depends on where the tank is located and the ambient temp. You can add a fan to try and drop another degree but will have to deal with high evaporation. It runs 24/7 at 50W if I didn't remember wrongly. Also at the price it's selling new, save abit more and get a proper chiller. Better in the long run.

Ok noted. Any recommendation? Chiller needs external pump rite? Is there any with internal pump?

Chiller can be hooked to internal pump but that's for big tanks with sump.
Having an internal filter in a small tank only serves to increase the temp. Get a external filter with a flowrate suitable for the chiller. Go to resun or hailea websites to see the chillers that are suitable for small tanks.
That said, would advise you to upgrade to a 2ft tank where it's easier to match equipments. Not to mention providing a more stable environment for your shrimps.

Bro if u are looking at the iceprobe one it is the same type as C328 selling the dolphin TEM is almost the same function. expected 100-150 range. Iceprobe u need to think of how to mount it etc.

Chiller can be hook to a pump or external canister filter.

Yup not to mention that if u want to invest with a controller to tied in it will easily shoot up to 200+

Yes bro u might as well for 1.5ft u can take resun cl200 or hailea 100A i think.
