Hard to say, but by right if the aro still in the seller's house, just ask him to refund the deposit. That's why usually sellers just want pack and go.

if i understand that normally the aro after the buyer had paid some deposit and leave the aro at the shop or farm to qurantine or monitor for some days, anything happen to the aro during this period then the deposit should be refund or can get another aro. they also dont tag the aro at the farm if only deposit is pay unless the whole amount is paid upfront. this is when i buy my aro and had this agreement with the farm.

Arowana
Since arowana still at seller place, by right seller will refund the deposit. Have you talk to the seller?
