Keep the eggs in a net and place the net on the aquarium so the eggs are constantly in the water, but are suspended. A bit like kelong. I did that and my egg grew into a baby lobster. Quite cool, look a bit like alien. Haha.. I put mine at the output of my hang-on filter, so it is constantly getting fresh oxygenated water. Good luck with hatching them artificially!
Agree with bro nolife not to move the cray into a hatching tank until maybe 2 weeks' time, so that when the babies arrive they'll have their own tank. You want them to have their own hatching tank so that they will be used to the water conditions there. Changes in water conditions will cause a lot of stress and might kill the babies. |
