My Juv aro like to jump alot!
Hi I have noticed my 6-inch aro like to jump alot for no apparent reasons. Sometimes it can continue jumping from 1 end of the tank to the other end. I am not sure is it due to water para or aro is extreme siao active!
Bros here can advise? |

firstly, it's new to environment.... - add blackwater
secondly, too many movement - freak out third, tank likely to be too big, run and dash... lastly, too many tankmates, ammonia rises fast... |

Hahaha , aro doing electric dancing.
Maybe is the location of the tank is not right, give it sometime to settle down. If still doesnt work, u can consider relocating the tank. Btw is ur tank pasted w/oyama 4sides, it help to calm aro too. |

Bro, my opinion is that your aro is still new to it's enviroment and thus the dashing and jumping. Happen to me before with my silver, maybe you could try to leave the lights on for a longer time and let it get used to the surrounding. Is there a lot of human traffic or kids at home? It also will contribute to the fish being jumpy.

If the tank's water is mature or cycled as per required,
then let it be... Movements outside of the tank will also cause this activity. It has not settled-in yet. Cheers mate..!! |

hi thanks bros for your advices. i i hope it is due to new env. i will monitor my aro for another 1 month, hope it will settle down by then. otherwise i will have to consider some of the bros advices (i.e. relocate tank or stick blank oyama on the both sides of the tank.
