Thanks for the replies guys.
Bagged 6 Kelberis from aqua one yesterday.. Tiny fellas only 2.5" in size. As for quality.. Not sure because they are small and hard to judge, so just hope they looks great in future! When I released them into tank ytd, they were pretty stable, even started to feed on hikari lionhead pellets after few hours. However, this morning when I walked Infront of the tank, all of them are super scared and hiding at the corners. Any input on why this happens? |

Observe are there alpha establish or other tank mates are bullying them. Also juv PB are timid when have chance will hide if you have conducive corner for them. If they are still feeding well should be no worry. Try getting live feeder once a while to pump them up.

Try to get small platy to entice them. They should love them. If still not eating something not right.

Tried feeding them pellets ytd and this morning. They were still hiding, but when I fed. Once one pcs came out, the rest followed suit to eat. After eating, back to hiding again.. You think they need some time to settle down or they will be like this forever? |

They are normal as they are timid. When first introduce into tank they are new they don't know where to go. Once settle down into their 'territory' they will be hiding there and come out once a while and when lights off. You must be having good hiding place for them. If you want to constantly see them go with bare tank. They will be like that till around 6" and above, when they are too big to hide.

From what I observed, once one of them venture to the front of the tank, everyone else does. might try to add in some tank mates to make them feel more comfortable. |

How big your tank? Some hooks or kong meng that swim around are good tank mate to take lead.
