get another mate for it, maybe another irwini or a striped raphael cat.... irwini can go without food in new environment for up to 2 weeks.....

I don't understand why but it is quite common for this cat to fast for a long period of time... I recall some may go without feeding for months

Hi bro, give it a drift wood to tuck its head in. When they are new, it may take a whle for them to settle down before feeding. They can fast for weeks before starting to eat.

hi bro, i think its normal for an irwini to behave like that, mine refuse to eat for the first few days when i arrived...keep hiding behind the powerhead.

it'll come out to look for food when its settled down in the new environment & beginning to feel hungry ya, haha.

If possible try to get more irwini in ur tank, they will eat more aggressively.
I've kept irwini solo b4, they tend to eat lesser and go on hunger strike more often, longest was a few months as what bro amiidae mentioned.
