for IOS, guess u need more then 5 bubbles/sec


im using a sump for my 6 ft, i cant even count the no. of bubbles... luckily im using a 10l cylinder... so no need to change so often...

ok! I have removed the ammonia absorbing stones and fixed my co2 to airstones in front of my IOF pump (got the idea from another forum, will see whether it works) so that the mini bubbles are forced to mix over about 1.5 ft of hose to the water outlet.

I also took some pics and shall try to post the nicer ones here

hehe was just gonna ask u to see gallery too...
anyway that's actually a very nice setup, how big is ur CO2 cylinder? n how often do u need to top it up?

I am using a 2L tank and so far I have to top up about every 3 months.

wha not bad wat using 2L tank can last up to 3 mths... hehe I was just thinking of getting a bigger cylinder for my 4ft tank... anyway I think clearer pics with more close ups of ur tank n plants wld be nice too

er, its 3 months possibly because I wasnt "seriously" using it before. I have just topped up earlier this month so will have to see how long it really lasts.

will try to take more photos but as those are my photo-taking standard lor.. very pai seh..

oh ok anyway no one's perfect, practice makes perfect so have fun taking those photos
