Had no idea about the oily part, my bad. I used to have some Senegalus and they took the meat readily. Thanks for the clarification TGM and Edwin!

I picked up a Nigerian Endlicheri the other day from the guys at http://big-in.jp

As I do with most new Bichirs, I give a few days of only having the "moonlight" blue lights on.
I think Bichirs can look great under a blue light, and mine become super active and hunter like in this light.

Thought I would share some pics of the new girl, and some others in my #4 tank by moonlight.

(today I will leave out the green Bichirs, they get too much love!)

Nigerian Endli: (colors and patterning not come out yet, but nice shaped head and great pectoral fins!)

Congicus I got the other day: (brutal face on this girl!)

Some more bigger Congis:

Teugelsi: (glows under blue light!)

Cat of the tank: (bully)

Queen of the "heavens": (she keeps the whole tank in shape)

Wow! Hope bros who got the first batch of congicus from AH can post theirs!! Paging for bro TuNa!!!!!

Btw bros, did a little walkabout around SG... For old-school type of big and fat endli, can go visit bro Eagle's (The feeder guy ) shop in Yishun and ogle at his big mamas and also a big lap there. For congicus, the shop at Blk 822 Tamp St 81 has a really solid big congi. Bold symm bars... Was standing in front of the tank for quite sometime!

Do share more places where we can see our darling bichirs in real life!! If any bros wanna do open house also can...
