Not just a player is good or not.
Other factors like whether he wants to play for us or timing.
RVP had rejected us and joined Gunners but finally he came to OT to help us win the title no. 20.

Maybe let De Ligt hones his skills while at Juv of course if he get the chance to play. Now he is always on the bench.
When he is ready to leave, perhap we might have a chance then.

I think Ed Woodward must now be boasting about how he has brought in sponsorships and being thrifty in the transfer market
The whole finances for all the premier league clubs and for that matter, everybody else is going to be very different

If this drags on and the season doesn't restart, some clubs may be out of business by the end of this year.
Your Crystal Palace, Burnley, Norwich etc clubs that are not bankrolled by some billionaire will be forced to sell their best players just to break even.

Even Real Madrid needs to have their players take a 20% paycut

I dun believe in 200M pounds for Kane. Not going to happen anymore.
Nobody can afford those figures anymore. The television people have no revenue. They won't pay for games not played.
May even ask for refunds on contracts not fulfilled.

I dunno about United's finances but I believe we are stable and can survive. However, we won't be able to pay those kind of salaries anymore.
What we can afford is to tell Raiola to take his players, including De Ligt elsewhere, to where they can afford his agent fees.
Ban and ostracise that idiot. Dun have anything to do with any of the players he represent and very soon, all those players will sack him

Manchester United are facing one of the most challenging periods in the club's history because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking as the club's third-quarter financial results revealed debt increased 42.2%, Ed Woodward laid bare the impact at Old Trafford.
The immediate cost of the COVID-19 outbreak is likely to be around £23m.

"It is undoubtedly one of the most extraordinary and testing periods in the 142-year history of Manchester United," Woodward told investors on Thursday.
"This club is built on resilience in the face of adversity and those qualities are being proven once again now.
"We remain firmly optimistic about the long-term prospects for the club and for our exciting, young team."

Woodward has suggested the Premier League could return in June with the European competitions, including the Europa League, being concluded in August.
That timetable would delay the start of the 2020-21 season but Woodward still predicted the idea was to end the next campaign in May as originally planned.
The club revealed they do not expect to embark on a traditional summer tour while also planning to repay broadcasters £20m
"following delay and broadcast schedule changes to the 2019-20 season."

"[The coronavirus] has caused significant disruption to our operations, including the postponement of all matches since mid-March
and the temporary closure of our retail, catering and visitor facilities at Old Trafford," Woodward said.
"We are encouraged by the return of the German Bundesliga, which was the first major European league to restart last weekend,
with the successful completion of nine matches, all played behind closed doors.
"As in Germany and elsewhere, it is now inevitable that our matches will initially be played behind closed doors when the season resumes.
"[These results] reflect a partial impact that the pandemic has on the club, while the greater impact will be in the current quarter and likely beyond.

"There are still profound challenges ahead, and for football as a whole, it is safe to say it will not be 'business as usual' for some time.
"Our club is built on a solid foundation. The repercussions of the pandemic are now being felt widely across the football community,
not just by clubs but also by players, supporters, broadcasters, sponsors and many other stakeholders.
"We must recognise that this crisis will not disappear overnight and that the world which emerges will be different from how it was before.
That will create challenges for football, like many other industries."

Dun put too high hopes on transfers to strengthen the team.
Basically that's what he is saying.
He'll probably try to low ball whichever club whose players we are interested in

Default Season Restarting

17 June
Man City vs Arsenal
Aston Villa vs Sheffield United

Can't wait for the games to start even though it'll mean those across the divide wins the title. Anyway, they deserve it.
Hv been fun watching how they fear the season getting null and void

Long given up on this issue of who is joining us.
If we were to even believe those rubbish reports, we would have more than 20 players joining us!!!!
Will only believe when they sign on the dotted lines, all others being rumours

Just hope that the Pogba and Bruno connection can worked until end of the season and then see who is coming in.
