Is the land tendered out by SLA, URA or HDB?
Don't we relate DBSS as HDB? There's no walled compound, no facilities, nothing more than some fancied HDB, like the Design and Build back in the 90s. Yet this DBSS is priced like a EC. |

not to mention those who needs to pay car installments... minus all really dry up... Thats why many average singaporean are not cash rich, instead, asset rich... net worth only... bleahh...
But private banks generally allow you to loan up to a housing value of 1.3m property if your income hits 10k per month... so prolly they think its still FINE To own a 880k unit... btw, DBSS can tk HDB housing loan meh? or private banks? Last edited by gracy; 20-06-2011 at 05:37 PM. |

banks allow loan of $10k monthly range to own a 1.3mil ppty is common..
it all subject to how long the loan tenure also.. banks can stretch to age 75yrs old..imagine 35 yrs old take loan..stretch to 40 yrs.. of cos cheaper.. |

What happened if a person half way die before the end of his 30 years loan complete, say due to old age...? Is his spouse or children going to take over the rest of the loan ? Or will it automatically 'called it a day' ?

DBSS too expensive? You can choose not to buy.
HDB too expensive? You also can choose not to buy. No roof over your head? Please don't sleep on Singapore streets, go sleep in JB streets cos it won't become our problem then. |
