Talking My Ice Fishing experience in US - Jan 2008

Hello ALL,

Not sure if we have a fishing kaki here in AF??

If yes I'm sure that you should be always searching for a good lobong for fishing? I like fishing since I'm in primary time, always hang around with a bunch of friends and DIY our fish rod and we can almost spend for a full day at those river nearby our kampung(village).

But I stopped on this hubby since after working until now. On Jan 2008, company sending couple of us to US for our new product transfer. That was a winter time in US and one of our US colleague, who's a fishing kaki and ask if we are interested in Ice Fishing!! haha.....We heard Ice Fishing before but never experience on it, so make up our mind and ON lah....fixed a date and he drive us to one of so called biggest lake in Minnesota for Ice Fishing.

Here are some of the pics that I took during the One whole day Fishing activity!!!

Enjoy and kindly share your comments if anyone having the same experience b4....

Mr Eric(my US colleague name) Fishing House - Was told DIY by him!!!
He personally put the fishing house in the lake in a week earlier. Picture was taken around 6am after we arrived.

Another pic that took around 8am, some light snow in the morning, can guess what's the temperature on that day??

Pic inside the fishing house, we drill a ONE slightly big rectangular hole inside the house.

We drill more (about 6 to 10) on this type of small hole outside of the fishing house.

It was the COLDEST winter according to them, u r right bro, but night time should be in between -20 to -27C....day time around 0 to -7C. He put a generator inside the house for heater and some lights. There is no stove inside the house. Let me dig further if I have more pics in the fishing house....
