Default Another 6.5ft Tank Done

11) Aquarium Tank size 6.5ft (L) x2.5ft (W) x 34in(H); fresh water setup (glass tank thickness 12/15 mm with machine chamfering)

Type of tank: EOS tank with sump
Commissioned Date: Jan 2012

Can 7 ft x 2.5ft x2.5 ft be place on 4 rm flat Hdb ? Have u build such tanks before for customer? Wats the price like with plug and play

Normally need to ask hdb branch office for approval.

Thanks for reply. Have read through other threads regarding this issue. Can you ways your total weight including tank, water, cabinet and all accessories(sump) for ur tank so I can prepare a location plan with description for submission to Hdb? Thanks

It will be 1300kg per our design.
Detail include 10 pieces of 4in by 4 in vertical beam chengnai wood (which in turn rested on wooden frame work). Beam of smaller size or beam directly rested on to floor will have no chance of approval.

thanks for the reply. Have u ever encountered successful client in building their 7 footer in hdb?

Certainly, we have seen big tank. In most cases the height of the tank is advised to be in 2ft.

just submit application to hdb, hope for approval. if everything is good, will get ready to meet u up for more discussion. Need more time to get ready for this huge hobby

Just draft a tank layout in living room. Hope to let u see. But file slightly bigger. Can i sent to your main address?

The approving party will need more info like isometric view of tank and structure of setup. We will forward some info over.
