Still smaller then the female but that's how you want it for breeding purposes.

Update
Well I had to move my male as he was getting harassed and needed some healing up. He is fully mature at only 7.5" to 8" wide. Since he is so small the adult males keep harassing him. I think he has small man syndrome now!! The base color changed again as he is back on gravel until I decide what to do with him. The female is still in the biggest tank and I am trying to breed her with the Bd/leo that is behind her on the left hand side. These rays have now been in my possession for just over 2yrs.
