Nope I don't think so, picture is really blurr but I think it's just a lesion. Remove it from the tank into a hospital tank and just change (50%) water daily. You can adds alittle salt or medication to speed up the recovery.

Basically its like something scrapped the inside of the gill covering, so its translucent now.

Erm... like if you scrape the silver off a mirror... know what I mean?

Ya, just keep the water clean and add some salt or medication to prevent secondary infection. It should be fine after awhile.

I am so sorry to hear that. I am really surprise that the said fish didn't manage to survive even after constant water change in the hospital tank. What was your water change routine and what medication did you add?

The wound you showed shouldn't be fatal. What did the rest of the fishes died of?

One had no injuries at all. Looked even alive in death cos the filter was sucking its tail fin and it was upright.

One had the fungus, and the injury in the head.

One just suddenly had difficulty breathing, noticed bloodlines running along the fins as I fished out the body.
