Seriously, don't ve to use anti-chlorine or contitioner for water. So far, me and a considerable amt of people have been using the water directly from the tap, and nothing unusual has ever happen to us~ well, u'll be the judge. Our fishes ranged from guppies, bettas, discus to arowanas (no flaring of gills)

Well, i'll not dare the same for other countries, especially Australia. But for Singapore, it've been working just fine for the rest of us. Whether to try tap water or not, is up to u. Like u, i initially did not dare to try without my faithful anti-chlorine even under persuasion of my friends. I was kind of forced to try without anti-chlorine because i forgot to stock up. I was amazed by the result, and it also sped the water change ordeal.

I'm one of the first few who kept CT and HM when they re still exclusive in US. And they have no problem with tap water either~~
Generally, in sg...the water quality is pretty standard and similar. However, most of the time is ur water pipe that gives u the problem...especially those pipes with low water-changeover rate...
