Got 1 more fella, at first i thought it was a pulcra but turns out he's not. Very aggresive guy. No choice but to send him away, he takes pellets too.
Dorsal fin with 2 spots. Notice the cheek spots are slightly bigger. Full view |

Should be a sp.??
I didn't get it IDed. Maybe some masters here can help ID. Looks can be very misleading. Pulchra's are not that aggressive compared to this fella. Although this guy is 1 head smaller than my 1st pulchra, he attacks the big guy. |

just want to share.. this snakehead is one of the smallest snakehead species.. and quite peacefull compare to the rest snakehead.. max size is 20cm.. this is sub-tropical fish so it's best keep in temperature is 20-22c.. but it should be able to live in 28c for some time.. prefer low ph water.. i have 2 in my tank.. my first snakhead fish.. kept in 24c.. main diet crickets i'll update pic soon.. |

bro*1043, IMO i think it could be a pulchra. I have seen a pulchra with 2 or 3 spots on the fin similar to the pic but aggresive wise im not so sure as it looked quite unhealthy.Just my opinion could be wrong tho

Not unhealthy, firstly the tank got water stains and just intro into tank only less than 24hrs. But that guy will still eat feeders even just after intro into new tank. |
