Hi Bro, those you bought should be the red tail. Yellow tail's body is slight more long-ish. Red tail's body is more rounder. Of course if the RT does not have much food and grows bigger, it will become longish too.

Tail shape wise, I don't see much diff but YT has much defined tail strips. Strips and color of the tail will come when it is bigger, much more stable and the water is clean for both RT and YT.

YT's mouth is wider, maybe because of a bigger head. Just my observance. Btw, I only have 1 YT..

Any bro know how to id the gender of FF ?
i had 2 YT FFs (about 2.5"), keep fighting since day 1 even in a 5x2x2 tank.

I used to have a really nice FF also, but he likes to suck his tankmates leh.. One even kanna sucked to death.. When I throw in algae waffle, he will chase other fish away also, quite fierce.. One day he jumped out of the tank when I was out at work.. Sigh.. You guys make me gian to keep again haha
