Mixing tanga with malawi?

Hi folks

can anyone advice if i can keep Tanga with Malawi?

currently i have the following stock list
Tank : 4*1.5*1.5

Malawi:
3 Yellow Lab
3 White tail P.Acei
1 Rusty
1 Electric Blue Hap

Victorians:
3 P.Neyerri

Tanga:
1 N.bichardi
1 Sydontis catfish

i am looking at adding some

Black Calvus
or
Julie regani
or
Callochromis pleurospilus


i have keep Calvus before and i know they are very delicate and sensitive to water conditions

how about Julies and Callochromis pleurospilus?
are they easy to keep?

They are relatively easy to keep, especially Julies, they breed like rabbits.
What kind of calvus have you kept before?

I would not recommend keeping altos or sand sifters with Malawians, they are too boisterous, and the tangans will end up being the losers at the dinner table. If you really insist on keeping tangans, your best bet are tropheus, simochromis, petrochromis and other tangans similar in behavior.

i have keep N.bicharid and they looks ok with malawis for 9 months now

N. Brichardi are by nature quite aggressive and territorial, despite their "fairy-like" look. That's why they aren't so startled by Malawians.

Julies can be kept with most anything. They are rock grazers meaning they can survive being out-eaten by Malawians.

i think julies are the most suitable tanga for the mix tank.
where can i get large Julidochromis marlieri or regani?

Juli are nice..but my 3 pieces of juli just disappeared in my tank w tanga..i don think they were eaten but they just disappeared without a body left behind...i wonder why...they were fierce enough to keep my compress away...
