My Journey with Marbled Chameleon Whiptails(Pseudohemiodon Apithanos)
It has been a long and fulfilling journey with Marbled Chameleon Whiptails. First got them when Daniel of Aquahobby brought them in a number of years back... Of course along the way, there has been much joy and satisfaction whenever I see them holding clutches of eggs under their mouths but there also times of sadness when the clutch of eggs suddenly disappear or the whole bunch of eggs just got abandoned by its brooder.
Their rate of spawning is not consistant and I am not able to harvest the eggs like how we do it for the other plecos like the L46s. I find I get better results when I let them hatch naturally and that is why the factory production line is not as productive as I would like it to be... But the better news is that after much persistance and patience my F1s are now matured and ready to go cause I just saw one holding eggs. Hopefully they are able to hatch naturally.. This was how when it all started.. My initial wild-caught specimen holding a big clutch of eggs.. I only managed to get my first fries after a few unsuccessful spawns.... From first successful spawn to fries(F1s)... And finally from F1 fries to adult and holding their next clutch of eggs and hopefully with F2 fries.. |

Nice.... The reward your pet gives you if you keep them long enough...

I dun think that there is anything as satisfying than looking at your fries.
The accomplishment you must feel. Cheers |

How long did it take for the F1s to reach breeding size? |
