Decide what size u want to use 1st, size really matter in marine fish keeping!
A sump offer u several advantages such as hiding ur euipment, clean water surface, & ease of maintenance etc.

IMO, thats not true. Although it does give you a rough guide, but its not accurate. It takes in far too few factors like filtration system, tank dimensions, type of fish.

For a 1' cube, you won't go wrong sticking to just 2 fishes that won't exceed 3" in length. This is a very safe and comfortable bioload. Remember, fishes need space to swim as well as a suitable system to ensure its well being.

A fishtank is just like your computer. When your tank crash(OS crash), its time to cleanup(reformat hard drive) and setup(install OS) again and add new livestock(re-install software).
